Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec. 28 / Trend N. Kirtskhalia /
The year 2010 had been fruitful in terms of Georgia's relations with NATO, the country's Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said while talking to the media, adding that NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen's visit to Tbilisi had been one of the most important events of the year.
"An important fact is that within the NATO-Georgia Commission 19 meetings were held," he said.
According to Vashadze, an agreement was also reached in 2010 that NATO will help Georgia to prepare own sappers.
"At a conference on nuclear security held in Washington our success in this direction was marked," he further said.
