President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself Tuesday with construction of multi-level road junctions and road layout in Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Head of State was informed five road junctions and overpass would be built from Ziya Bunyadov Avenue to Boyuk Shor circle.
The road junctions will include three tunnels which are 620, 260, 522 meters in length and 22 and 10 meters in width and three pedestrian underpasses 170 meters in length. The construction work started in early 2011.
President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with a road junction layout located at intersection of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and Ahmad Rajabli Street.
The facility is 328 meter in length, and 28 meter in width. The construction of the road junction layout started early this year.
The President inspected the technical specifications of a road junction located at intersection of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and Aliyar Aliyev Street.
The 6-lane road will be 452 meter in length, and 27 meter in width.
The Head of State viewed a road junction located at intersection of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and Boyuk Shor Highway.
The 6-lane tunnel will be 610 meter in length, 26,5 meter in width and 5,5 meter in height. The construction of the tunnel started in May, 2011.
President Ilham Aliyev also familiarized himself with a tunnel layout located at intersection of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and Muzaffar Narimanov Street.
The 6-lane tunnel will be 800 meter in length, and 26 meter in width. The Muzaffar Narimanov Street will be reconstructed.
The President was told construction of 5 road junctions in Ziya Bunyadov Avenue will end in late 2012.
The Head of State gave relevant recommendations and instructions.
