Azerbaijani army holds live-fire exercises

Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces started large-scale live-fire exercises, Defense Ministry said in a message Nov. 16.
The exercises are carried out according to the plan approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
Troops started tactical actions in order to execute the training and combat tasks with the use of weaponry and equipment.
The exercises’ characteristics are immediacy of information gathering, its processing and immediate transmittance of new tasks in rapidly changing situation via electronic, computational, visual and other modern technologies, which allow holding observations overland, at sea and in the sky.
