BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 12. Newly appointed military attaché of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Major General Gaffar Gören was introduced to the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend.
The Defense Minister welcomed the Turkish attaché and
congratulated him on his appointment to Azerbaijan.
Colonel General Hasanov highlighted the exceptional impact of the
sincere relations between the heads of both fraternal states in all
fields, including military cooperation. He noted that
Azerbaijani-Turkish relations are based on friendship, brotherhood,
and strategic alliance.
Hasanov wished the Turkish military attaché success in his future activities on further development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Gören expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, and hospitality and expressed his pleasure with the start of working as a military attaché in Azerbaijan. The military attaché emphasized that he would work for the further development of military cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by outgoing military attaché Major General Soner Oruçoğlu, new perspectives of cooperation in military, military-technical, and military-educational fields and a range of issues of common interest were exchanged.
