Electoral lists and new election IDs will be distributed to citizens 7 days before the start of elections that are due on May 13, the head of the legal department of the Central Elections Commission (CEC) told Trend. All documents are ready and they will soon be distributed among the 10 electoral districts, where the re-run parliamentary will take place.
New elections IDs will be distributed to all citizens older than 18 years old, including those who have changed their residence and second name. Noticeably, new IDs are given for the 5 years term which means that the IDs distributed at the last elections will be valid on May 13 and 4 years on. Thus, new IDs will now be given only to those who did not receive them last year or those who had done changes to the personal documents.
Special chest ID tags have also been prepared for observers. 107 out of 315 registered observers have already picked up their ID tags.
