Azerbaijani Neftchi Football Club Able to Gain License in UEFA: Vice President

Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 June /corr. Trend R.Ergun / Azerbaijani Football Club 'Neftchi' may successfully pass all stages of UEFA Intertoto Cup. "Our club possesses enough force and opportunities to pass three stages of UEFA Intertoto Cup and gain license for UEFA Cup. I believe that 'Neftchi' cam make its fans glad with its successful game in this championship," the Vice President of 'Neftchi' club, Ilgar Guluzadeh said to Trend on 17 June.

Guluzadeh was appointed as the Vice President of 'Neftchi' several days ago. Before it, he was Executive Director of the club. Before Guluzadeh, the position of Vice President was held by Ramin Musayev, current President of Professional Football League, Ramin Musayev.    

The Vice President said that 'Neftchi', who currently hold domestic games in Tofig Bahramov Stadium, will play on other arena, beginning from the next season. "One of the key targets is to fully resolve Neftchi's problem with stadium. Beginning from the next season, Neftchi will hold domestic matches on stadium named after Ismat Gayibov in Bakikhanov settlement. Currently repair works are being carried out in the stadium," Guluzadeh said.

Last season, Neftchi held domestic matches in Tofig Bahramov Stadium. The match between Baku club and Slovakian Nitra team within UEFA Intertoto will take lace on 21 June in this stadium.
