"Everything is in order at the Handball Federation. Therefore, any change is not expected to be done at the Federation," Azad Rahimov, the Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sport, told journalists in the opening ceremony of the Pirallahi Sport Centre on 12 November.
Former Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev is the President of the Handball Federation.
Opening of a new sport centre is an important event, Rahimov said.
"We would like the sport centre to grow and train World and Europe Champions and the Centre to be open every time," Rahimov said.
Rauf Aliyev, MP of Azizbayov District and Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) took part in the ceremony and expressed his gratitude.
"We thank the Minister of Youth and Sport for opening of new sport centre in Pirallahi settlement of Baku," Aliyev said.
