Secondary schools teachers to be admitted to fill vacant jobs via Internet in Azerbaijan

"First, this innovation will be applied in Baku but all over Azerbaijan from 2010/2011 academic year. It is envisaged to place advertisements about vacant jobs at website of the ministry of education. Teachers willing to get jobs must apply to the ministry of education via e-applications," minister of education, Misir Mardanov, said at the meeting dedicated to beginning of new academic year.

Secondary schools teachers will be admitted to fill vacant jobs via Internet in Azerbaijan from new 2009/2010 academic year.

"First, this innovation will be applied in Baku but all over Azerbaijan from 2010/2011 academic year. It is envisaged to place advertisements about vacant jobs at website of the ministry of education. Teachers willing to get jobs must apply to the ministry of education via e-applications," minister of education, Misir Mardanov, said at the meeting dedicated to beginning of new academic year. 

Mardanov also said that the Republican meeting of leading employees in education will be held in early September.

New academic year will begin in Azerbaijan on September 15. At present, roughly 4,525 secondary schools operate in Azerbaijan. Roughly 170,000 teachers work in these schools.
