BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. The materials on damage to the budget of Azerbaijan in the amount of 13.7 million manat ($8 million) were sent to law enforcement agencies in connection with the supposed crime signs, Trend reports via the Azerbaijani Accounts Chamber's report for 2023.
The Chamber's Board suggested paying 60.7 million manat ($35.7 million) in cash and in kind to make up for the damage done to the budget last year due to financial irregularities in state institutions.
Against the backdrop of the fact that the damage to the budget, estimated at 28.8 million manat ($16.9 million), consists of social payments to the population, the chamber didn't determine a measure to restore this amount and decided to suspend part of these payments.
