BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2. The World Bank supports the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan in the implementation of the employment program to improve human capital, World Bank Country Manager for Azerbaijan Stefanie Stallmeister said, Trend reports.
She made the statement at a panel discussion on ”Meeting the human capital challenge for the green economy: the imperative for policy, education business and innovation. ”.
“The World Bank is supporting Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in implementing an employment program where the government is focusing on retraining and upskilling workers and creating new jobs, including green jobs. We hope that this will help improve Azerbaijan's human capital and capitalize on all the opportunities that the transition to a green economy offers both for Azerbaijan and other countries,” she said.
