BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The return of former internally displaced persons to Shusha city continues following the instruction of the Azerbaijani President, Trend reports via the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
According to the information, the next group of former IDPs, who left the Garadagh district of Baku on October 8, arrived in Shusha City.
Meanwhile, it was noted that at this stage keys to apartments were handed over to 16 families (60 persons in total), which were resettled in Shusha City.
The representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, and the State Reserve Department of Shusha city took part in the ceremony of handing over the keys.
The families permanently resettled in Shusha are provided with housing in newly built houses. At the moment, 220 families (823 people) have been provided with housing in the city.
