Azeri Education Ministry achieved to stop student admission into branches of several foreign higher educational institutions

The Education Ministry of Azerbaijan could stop the admission of students into branches of several foreign higher educational institutions functioning in the territory of the country. Such decision was made by the Economical Court on base of the claim of the Education Ministry, Trend reports quoting the same ministry.

Considering their activity illegal, the Education Ministry had raised claim in the Economical Court in May of this year regarding the termination of the activity of branches. The branches include Baku Branch of Moscow Law and Management Academy; Baku Branch of Saint-Petersburg Institute of Foreign Economical Relations, Economy and Law; Baku Branch of State Academy named after Maymoind; Baku Branch of Moscow State Open University; South Russian Humanitarian Institute; Dagestan State University; Kiev Advertisement University and Dnieper National University.

The ministry makes aware the entrants and their parents that the activity of these branches is considered illegal and the diplomas of the graduators of these institutions will not be accepted.
