Azerbaijan discloses projected revenues from oil and non-oil sectors for 2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 10

Some 54.8 percent of the revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget or 14.7 billion manat ($8.6 billion) are predicted to account for the oil sector, while 45.2 percent or 12.1 billion manat ($7.1 billion) – for the non-oil sector in 2022, Trend reports on Nov. 10 referring to the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for next year.

The revenues from the oil sector in 2022 will exceed the forecasts for this year by 6.6 percent or 914 million manat ($537 million), while those from the non-oil sector - by 4.1 percent or 475 million manat ($279 million) in accordance with the draft state budget.

The current indicators of income from the oil sector have already exceeded the forecast by 2.1 percent or 304 million manat ($178 million) while from the non-oil sector - less than the forecast figure by 3.8 percent or 474 million manat ($278 million).

Moreover, the current state budget revenues from the oil sector increased by 4.9 percent or 687.9 million manat ($404.6 million) from January through September 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 while from the non-oil sector - by 13.5 percent (1.4 billion manat $823 million).
