The Lithuanian BS/2 plans to introduce its cash counting machine for the first time in the Azerbaijani market, the company's commercial director Kornelijus Sislas told Trend.

According to Sislas, the company has established cooperation with all major banks in Azerbaijan.

"Our equipment is designed for quick counting, sorting and rejection of banknotes. It is necessary for cash centers operating with a large volume of funds. We believe that we can introduce this equipment in the Azerbaijani market," he said.

In addition, the commercial director said that today the BS/2 provides Azerbaijani banks with new ATMs, software, POS terminals.

"The International Bank of Azerbaijan and Kapital Bank use our Cash Management software (optimization and management of the ATM network). Through this software, they serve their ATM network (700-800 units). Our new software ensures 100 percent security of ATM transactions," Sislas stressed.

He also noted that BS/2 supplies Android-based payment terminals and standard payment terminals.

"Our Android terminals are already used by four Azerbaijani banks - PASHA Bank, Premium Bank, AzerTurkBank, and Expressbank. With this decision, we plan to establish cooperation with other banks," he said.

According to the commercial director, the company also supplies self-service cash desks, ordinary cash desks, scales, scanners, juicers and other equipment to Azerbaijan.

"We have established cooperation with all large retail chains of Azerbaijan - Bravo, Rahat Market, Araz, Bazar Store, as well as with small businesses. Our equipment for receiving payments has been presented in the local market for several years," Sislas said.
