The prices on crop and livestock products increased by 4.2 percent in 2010, in December 2010 compared to November - by 1.7 percent, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said today.
Prices increased mainly on grain by 4.1 percent, on corn by 0.8 percent, green beans - 21.4 percent, potatoes - 9.2 percent, sugar beet - 3.3 percent, raw cotton - 12.1 percent, fodder plants - 4.7 percent.
Last year, the prices on barley dropped by 4.4 percent, on dried leguminous vegetables - by 12,9 percent, watermelon and melon - by 7.3 percent and other products.
Prices on citrus plants rose by9.6 percent, on nuts by 11.5 percent, while prices for tropical and subtropical fruit - dropped by 0.8 percent, berries - 3,7 percent and other products.
Among livestock products, prices on veal rose by 0.3 percent and on pork by 7.7 percent, poultry meat- 2.1 percent, eggs -by 15.8 percent, while mutton dropped by one percent.
Prices on fish and fish products in 2010 increased by 8.3 percent, forest products - 9.1 percent
