The Kazakh Agriculture Ministry will put 1,500 carps into the Ishim River from the state enterprise Maybylyk fish hatchery on Saturday to create a fishing recreation zone within Astana city, the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry said.
They continue that the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry's Fishery Committee's enterprises put fish into reservoirs every year within the budget designated by the "Reproduction of fish resources" program.
Within this program, Maybylyk fish hatchery plans to put 41 million young carps into Ishim River, Rowing Canal and Vyacheslav Reservoir. This measure is intended to create a recreation zone for residents and guests of the capital.
"In 2011, within its budget program, enterprises of the Fishery Committee of the Agriculture Ministry plans to put a total of 160 million young fishes into reservoir," the report says.
