A work statement on the provision of financial support to agricultural producers was submitted during a government session in Turkmenistan, Turkmen Dovlet Habarlary state news service reported.

Local entrepreneurship plays a significant role in the development of agriculture in the country.

“The issuance of preferential loans at favorable terms will contribute to the active introduction of advanced methods of management and modern technologies to increase crop yields and processing of agricultural products, as well as to the growth of production of high-quality foodstuffs,” said the Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, according to the news service.
