By Huseyn Hasanov– Trend:

The Turkmen Enjan company operating in Turkmenistan is completing the construction of a plant for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene pipes, the Turkmengaz State Concern said in a message.

Water and corrugated pipes with a diameter of 110-630 millimeters have high chemical resistance and withstand pressure of 10-16 atmospheres.

The entrepreneurs are preparing to purchase raw materials for the polymer pipes at the gas chemical complex in the Kiyanly settlement, which will be commissioned in December this year.

The manufacture of polymer products is a new direction in the activity of the Turkmen Enjan company.

For more than ten years, entrepreneurs have been involved in the supply of equipment, machinery and mechanisms to Turkmenistan, as well as the construction of industrial facilities.

Together with European companies, they participated in the reconstruction and modernization of various enterprises, as well as facilities, where such companies as CNPC, Zemin Insaat, GP Global Equipment and others were the main contractors.

Construction of a gas chemical complex for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene is underway in the Kiyanly settlement.

The plant will annually process 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 386,000 tons of polyethylene and 81,000 tons of polypropylene.

The project is carried out by the consortium of Toyo Engineering Corporation (Japan), LG and Hyundai (South Korea). The total cost of the project is about $3.4 billion.
