The launch of a major slaughterhouse in Talgar district of Kazakhstan’s Almaty region is planned for this year, Trend reports with reference to Inbusiness news agency.
First information about construction of the slaughterhouse was provided in 2017. The number of new work places following the putting into operation of the slaughterhouse is to equal 450 places.
Alel Agro Joint-Stock Company, the largest broiler meat producer and distributor in Kazakhstan, has invested 4.71 billion tenge into the construction of the slaughterhouse, which is to manufacture 70,000 tons of poultry meat a year.
The main activity of the company is production and sale of poultry meant and of consumer goods. Its annual production capacity reaches 34,000 tons. Currently, the company operates six poultry factories, a feed mill, a slaughterhouse, a sorting terminal, and an incubator in Almaty Region.
