Russia’s KAMAZ reveals details of next truck delivery to Turkmenistan

The next deliveries of trucks from KAMAZ PJSC of Russia’s Tatarstan to Turkmenistan are planned for the first half of 2021, KAMAZ told Trend.

The company also said that the total volume of trucks to be delivered to Turkmenistan next year will be 463.

According to the results of nine months, 663 trucks from the KAMAZ company were delivered to Turkmenistan.

The total order by the end of this year is 690 KAMAZ trucks. At the same time, the remaining 27 units of trucks will be delivered to Turkmenistan by the end of 2020.

The company noted that the coronavirus pandemic will not be able to prevent the implementation of the planned delivery for the current year.

"Despite the difficult situation in the world,cause by the the spread of COVID-19, the order for 2020 will be fulfilled. Execution of the order in full became possible due to the fulfillment of the obligations assumed by the parties, " the company said.

KAMAZ also noted that in 2019, an agreement was signed between KAMAZ and Turkmenawtoulaglary” (Turkmen highways) Agency of the Minister for Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan, the purpose of which is to strengthen cooperation in the supply and technical support of KAMAZ trucks in Turkmenistan.

The agreement stipulates the supply of KAMAZ trucks for various purposes in the amount of 1,982 units in the period from 2019 to 2021. To the date, two-way work is underway to fulfill this order. It is expected that the agreements will be implemented in full and on time.
