TEHRAN, Iran, Nov 14. Iran has become self-sufficient in the repair of aviation equipment, said an official in Iran Airport Company Siamak Behnam, Trend reports citing Tasnim News Agency.
"Although the country is facing sanctions on its aviation
sector, it has become self-sufficient in
terms of repairing equipment," he said.
He stressed that Iran’s sky is the safest route in regional flying zones and had all the necessary equipment for a safe flight.
According to the official, Iran has purchased seven radio
navigation systems, known as Instrument
Landing System (ILS), for airports in Mashhad, Rasht, Ahvaz, Bandar
Abbas, Sari, Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airports in Tehran.
