BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Russia increased by 26.9 percent in value and 56.3 percent in volume, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, Trend reports.

According to the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Russia for the reporting period amounted to nearly 1.39 million tons worth $645 million.

Meanwhile, the non-oil trade turnover between the two countries stood at about 889,000 tons worth $508 million in the same month of the last Iranian year.

In the 3rd month of the current Iranian year alone (May 22 through June 21, 2023), Iran's trade turnover with Russia amounted to about 503,000 tons worth approximately $239 million.

The main goods traded between Iran and Russia were petrochemical products, agricultural products, glassware, industrial products, raw silk, cotton, wood, and wood materials, etc.

Overall, Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 44.1 million tons worth $26.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.
