In general, 21 cities, 2,800 villages and 4,660 industrial enterprises in Iran were supplied with gas and a number of oil-gas facilities have been put into operation today on June 24, Trend reports citing IRINN.
According to the report, a total of 137 trillion rials (about $3.26 billion) was spent in this regard.
“So, 41 trillion rials (about $978 million) was spent for gas supply to 2,800 villages, 10.5 trillion rials (about $250 million) – for gas supply to 21 cities and 11.7 trillion rials (about $279 million) – for gas supply to 4,660 industrial enterprises” the report said.
Furthermore, 4 facilities have been put into operation in Khuzestan and Fars provinces to increase gas pressure, as well as, a unit of Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company on light distillate production has been launched. In total 84.3 trillion rials (about $2 billion) has been spent on the launch of these facilities, the report said.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh and other officials attended the event dedicated to the gas supply under a plan of the Iranian Oil Ministry.
