Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas National Company will start development of Turgay paleozoic basin, Trend reports citing the company’s statement.
In a statement published at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, the company said that it has signed an agreement for development and hydrocarbons extraction at the basin with Kazakhstan Energy Ministry.
The agreement signed on August 24, 2021 oversees operations on Turgay paleozoic basin, which is in the country’s Kyzylorda region.
National Company KazMunayGas (KMG) is the Kazakhstan operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state interests in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.
