Iran shares data on gas exports from Pars Siraf port

More than 115,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) have been exported from the Pars Siraf port in the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) from the 11th month of the last Iranian year (January 20 through February 18, 2021) to September 6, 2021, the official of Iranian Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Payam Motamed said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

Motamed noted that the LPG of the 10th refinery of the South Pars Gas Company and the Kangan Oil Refining Company were exported to the target markets by 5 ships.

The official added that the first platform of the Pars Siraf port has the capacity to load 5,000 cubic meters of LPG per hour.

“A sulfur storage facility with a capacity of 43,000 tons and a terminal on sulfur loading in the Pars Siraf port will be launched by the 11th of this year (January 21, 2022). In addition, the 2nd platform on LPG export will be launched by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2022),” he said.
