According to the hydrocarbon production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the main equipment of the compressor station at the Zhanubiy Tandircha field, which is planned to be launched by the end of the year, will be supplied by the US companies, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz.
In particular, the WH7 gas piston compressors will be supplied by the US Cooper Machinery Services and the SUPERIOR 16 SGTD gas piston engines by the US Sinor Engine Co.
On June 4, 2021, a contract was signed between Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Singaporean company Enter Engineering for the construction of a compressor station at the Zhanubiy Tandircha field; the cost of the facility is $74.1 million. The design daily capacity of this compressor station is 4.28 million cubic meters of natural gas (5.9 MW).
In order to prepare and participate in the test work carried out at a special test bench, a Working Group, consisting of specialists from Uzbekneftegaz JSC and Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department, arrived in the city of Texas.
The members of the Working Group got acquainted with the activities of the repair bases of these companies, studied the technically complex processes of verification, calculation, assembly, adjustment, and testing of reciprocating compressors and engines during assembly, and also exchanged experience with the specialists of these companies.
The preparatory work for the compressor and motor testing process and the technical condition of the test bench were thoroughly studied, and during the tests, a strict requirement was established that the technical parameters of the compressors and motors comply with the manufacturer's “operating instructions”.
As a result of the commissioning of this compressor station, the full production of the reserves of the Zhanubiy Tandircha field, the stability of the produced gas, and an increase in the daily production of natural gas by 500,000 cubic meters will be ensured.
