In May 2019, sale prices of new housing increased by 0.8 percent compared to the previous month and amounted to 282,184 tenge per one square meter, Trend reports with reference to the Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
In the period of January-May 2019, the prices increased by 3.1 percent compared to the same period of 2018.
Furthermore, in May 2019 the resale price of comfortable housing increased by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month and equaled to 192,201 tenge per one square meter. However, in January-May 2019, this price increased by 2.7 percent compared to the same period of last year.
In May 2019, the resale price of non-comfortable housing increased by 0.3 percent compared to April 2019 and stood at 119,704 tenge per one square meter. In turn, this price increased by 2.9 percent in the period of January-May 2019 compared to the same period of the previous year.
In May, the renting price of comfortable housing equaled to 1,431 tenge per one square meter which equals the price of the previous month. However, this price increased by 7.5 percent in the period of January-May 2019 compared to the same period of 2019.
