Azerbaijan and Russia discuss cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ACA) and All-Russian Union of Insurers (ARIA), Trend reports citing ACA.
According to the information, the leadership of ACA paid a working visit to Moscow (Russian), where they met with the Chairman of ARIA Igor Yurgens to discuss cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between ACA and ARIA on the application of ESG principles (environmental, social and corporate governance) in the insurance sector - "ESG-Insur 2021".
ACA reports that Chairman of the Supervisory Board Azer Aliyev and Executive Director of the Association Elmar Mirsalaev took part in the International Conference.
The priority topic was the sustainable promotion of environmental, social and corporate governance in the strategy for the development of global financial markets in the coming years.
According to the report, ACA representatives also held individual meetings and discussed opportunities for cooperation with the heads of Sber Insurance, AIG, RGS Group, Zurich, and the Russian Association of Automobile Insurers.
During the visit, the ASA leadership took part in the XIII Congress, traditionally organized by the Russian International Research Association at MGIMO, to discuss the evolution of Russian foreign policy, the transformation of social policy in modern realities.
Earlier it was reported that ACA and the All-Russian Union of Insurers signed a Memorandum of Understanding on July 16, 2021.
