Azerbaijan, Baku, June 25 / Trend , G.Valiyev/

State Concern AZAL (Azerbaijan Air Lines) is planning to submit an updated version of its Internet resources, the state concern reported on June 25.

The technical opportunity of a new Internet resource will be improved, which will provide full services e-registration of tickets (e-ticket), the source said.

International Air Transport Association (International Air Transport Association - IATA), which includes 230 airlines of the world, set conditions before the airlines to accelerate the transition to electronic tickets. However, due to lack of necessary technical equipment for the system of e-ticket, some airlines have not yet made the transition to electronic filing of air fares.

The e-ticket registration system in Azerbaijan is already available and provides passengers flying into the country and abroad, with the exception of countries where this system is not functioning, which is not so much.

One of advantages of e-tickets is that the passenger data are stored electronically in a database of airline, which excludes the loss factor, and makes them accessible at any time.

E-tickets enable to hold a quick registration of hand luggage at airline terminals. Moreover, passengers with electronic airline tickets can register at any time (no later than two hours before departure) and in any place via Internet resource airline.
