The next working visit of experts with Strategic Policy Research, Inc. to Azerbaijan is expected within the agreement between the Ministry of Communication and IT and United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). The ministry officials told Trend the visit is scheduled to late August.
This is the third experts visit in a row. During their previous visits they got acquainted with the organization of the ministry and its enterprises for the further operations foreseen under the agreement and issued recommendations on individual spheres of management within the ministry and its facilities.
The agreement includes consulting services due to technologies transfer, restructuring and organizational management, assistance in acquiring up-to-date ICT practice in the Ministry and so on.
The document signed in January 2005 Minister of Communication and IT of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov and US temporary Charge dAffairs to Azerbaijan Jason Highland. The grant amounts nearly $735,000.
