BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Malaysia reached $108.3 million from January through October 2022, Malaysian officials said, Trend reports, citing Malaysian media outlets.
Exports to Kazakhstan account for $107.2 million, while imports reached $1.1 million.
Major exports to Kazakhstan consisted of electrical and electronic products, palm oil and agricultural goods.
Key imports were metals, transport equipment and chemical products.
Malaysian officials expect trade to improve in the coming years, and attribute a sharp decline observed earlier to the impact of COVID related restrictions and an overall decline of business activity.
