The interim president of Kyrgyzstan explained young residents of Osh city why OSCE policemen are bringing in. Today, Roza Otunbaeva during her visit to Osh has met with representatives of local youth organizations in Osh city, news agency "24.kg" reported.
Leaders of the civil society complained the head of the government that officers of militia and army command abuse authority. Roza Otunbaeva confirmed she is aware of such violations and will monitor this problem.
"We want to build democratic state where the utmost value is human rights consequently we have to respect rights of every citizen," Mrs. Otunbaeva stressed.
Roza Otunbaeva had detailed necessity of OSCE police deployment "for the advisory help in stabilizing the situation in the south of the country." However, representatives of youth organizations of Osh wasn't satisfied by her answers and handed over their statement to her.
