DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 8. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has arrived in Astana to participate in the 6th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State and the 'Central Asia plus Japan' summit, Trend reports via the press service of the president.
President Rahmon was welcomed at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport by Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and other senior officials.
To note, on August 9, Astana will host the 6th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State and the 'Central Asia plus Japan' summit. The meetings will focus on key issues of multilateral cooperation and future prospects for regional collaboration.
