BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 30. Turkmenistan has imported 1822.5 tons of wheat flour from the Kemerovo region of the Russian Federation since the beginning of the year, Trend reports.
According to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor), during this period Turkmenistan was among the top 3 importers of wheat flour from the Kemerovo region.
Thus, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) ranks first in terms of wheat flour imports from the Kemerovo region of Russia (4711.1 tons), followed by China (1363.4 tons).
The products have passed laboratory control, comply with quarantine and phytosanitary requirements of the importing country, and are approved for export.
In general, more than 112,000 tons of grain and its processed products have been exported from the Kemerovo region since the beginning of the year.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan imported about 54,000 tons of flour from Russia from July 2022 through June 2023.
