ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 26. The trade turnover between Türkiye and Turkmenistan for the whole of last year amounted to $2.66 billion, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), these figures for the specified period are 29.1 percent more than for the same period in 2022 ($2.06 billion).
Turkmenistan's exports to Türkiye for the whole of 2023 amounted to $1.66 billion, which is 71.7 percent more than in the same period of 2022, when it amounted to just over $967 million.
At the same time, exports from Türkiye to Turkmenistan decreased by almost 8.9 percent during the reporting period compared to the corresponding period in 2022 ($1.09 billion), while reaching slightly more than $1 billion.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Türkiye and Turkmenistan in 2022 reached $2.06 billion, reflecting a 21.8 percent increase compared to 2021 when it was $1.69 billion.
