TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 3. Uzbekistan's Hayot Bank, Yangi Bank, Smart Bank, and Apex Bank have been granted membership in Uzbek Republican Stock Exchange (UzRSE), Trend reports.
According to the UzRSE, the membership in will allow joint-stock companies to actively participate in exchange operations and expand their opportunities in Uzbekistan's financial market.
Meanwhile, Smart Bank has been admitted as a member of UzRSE in the "C" category, while Apex Bank, Hayot Bank, and Yangi Bank have been accepted in all categories - "A", "B", and "C".
Category "A" grants UzRSE members the right to participate in currency market operations, including trading currency futures contracts.
Category "B" grants the right to participate in and carry out operations in exchange trading on the market for government securities.
Category "C" allows banks to engage in operations in the interbank money market and participate in credit and deposit auctions with commercial banks conducted by the Central Bank.
To expand the range of exchange trading participants and stimulate entities in the financial market, no fees or contributions are levied for membership in UzRSE.
