The price of one gram of the 18-karat gold increased by 1.53 percent over the last Iranian week to stand at 1,519,780 rials (about $32.4) on the weekend.
The price of Bahar-e Azadi (Spring of Liberty) gold coin gained 2.31 percent over the week and stood at 15,960,000 rials ($341.1) on the last day of the Iranian week, Thursday.
Meanwhile, the value of the US dollar against Iranian rial in the free market increased by 1.27 percent to post 48,490 rials on Thursday.
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of the US dollar at 37,693 rials on Thursday, an increase of 0.74 percent compared to the preceding week.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro gained 3.1 percent to rest at 57,860 rials on the weekend. The official rate of euro increased by 2.46 percent to stand at 46,668 rials.
