The gold coin was traded in Iran at 16,180,000 rials (about $339.7 according to the currency rate in Iran's free market) on March 18, indicating a drop of 0.87 percent compared to the preceding day.
According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,520,940 rials (about $31.9), dropping 0.5 percent.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 57,550 rials in the free market, dropping 0.54 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 46,345 rials.
The US dollar was traded at 47,760 rials in the free market, gaining 0.14 percent. The CBI put the official rate for the US dollar at 37,691 rials.
