Forty-nine production facilities have resumed operations in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), said Gholamreza Babaei, chairman of the West Azerbaijan province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Babaei noted that besides, 35 semi-operating facilities have reached 100 percent production.
The chairman added that loans worth 4 trillion rials (about $96 million) were allocated for the activities of non-operating and semi-operating facilities in the province.
Babaei said that 131 industrial facilities received licenses in the province, adding that 2.3 trillion rials (about $54.9 million) have been invested in the commissioning of these facilities.
The chairman noted that 942 people were provided with jobs after the commissioning of these facilities.
Iran’s current government has created certain opportunities for the resumption of operation of thousands of manufacturing facilities this Iranian year.
