Iran reveals data on non-oil exports via Sistan & Baluchestan Province’s customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Iran’s non-oil exports via the customs of Sistan and Baluchestan Province (south-eastern Iran) increased by 3 percent in value terms and decreased by 2 percent in weight terms during four month of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through April 20, 2024) compared to the same month of last year, customs inspector of Iran's Sistan and Baluchistan province Mohammad Ali Khashi said, Trend reports.

According to him, 82.4 million tons of products worth $577,000 were exported through customs of the province during four month.

The official stated that mainly cement, coal, fruits, peas, tomatoes, dates and other agricultural products were exported from Sistan and Baluchistan province in 4 months.

Khashi added that the products are mainly exported to Pakistan, China, Kuwait, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and India.

To note, according to the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration, Iran exported non-oil products worth 17.5 billion dollars in 4 months. This shows an 8 percent increase compared to the same period last year (March 21 - July 22, 2023).
