TEHRAN, Iran, April 4. Iran is seeking to promote sanitation as the priority and solve financial issues including welfare for health care workers and completing unfinished projects, said the Minister of Health Bahram Einollahi, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"There are 220 incomplete hospitals and 4,300 health center projects that require a budget," he said.
According to the minister, Iran has invested 400 million rials (about $9,500) for the treatment of each patient with coronavirus disease while the cost of the vaccine was $8 per shot.
"Iran has been successful in curbing coronavirus and the approach of health and vaccination sector has been acceptable," he stressed.
He went on to say that the healthcare workers should be evaluated and employment of non-specialist forces will be banned.
