Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has received delegation from the European Parliament which includes Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Elmar Brok and rapporteur on Georgia Krzysztof Lisek today.
The presidential administration told Trend that parliamentary elections in Georgia, current political processes and the intensification of Georgia's integration into the European Union were the main topics of discussion at the meeting.
The sides stressed the importance of the strengthening of cooperation within the EU Neighborhood Policy.
Brok said that Georgia recently made significant progress. Brok urged the new government to stay the course in the name of the country's development and integration into European bodies.
