A grand event will be held in the Great Hall of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre in Tbilisi on October 10 in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Georgian National Olympic Committee (NOC).
The president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach and the head of the European Olympic Committee (EOC) Patrick Hickey arrived in Georgia to participate in the event.
Among the honorary guests of the event are an Olympic champion, the world pole vault record holder Sergey Bubka, the heads of the National Olympic Committees of some countries.
During the visit to Georgia, the guests will meet with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Giorgi Margvelashvili and review the infrastructure for the European Youth Olympic Festival "Tbilisi-2015".
In particular, the guests will visit the Olympic Village and review the sports facilities in Tbilisi.
