Money transfers from Georgia from January through October 2021 amounted to $251.7 million, which is an increase of 25.6 percent, compared to $200.3 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
The same index also increased by 32.4 percent, compared to the reporting period of 2019, when $190 million was transferred from Georgia.
According to the statistical report, money outflow from Georgia only in October 2021 totaled $30.2 million, which is an increase of 3.4 percent, compared to $29.2 million in September 2021, and an increase of 26.8 percent, compared to $23.8 million in October 2020.
The current index increased, compared to the reporting period of 2019 as well – by 34.8 percent from $22.4 million.
Meanwhile, the volume of money inflow to Georgia from January through October 2021 amounted to $1.9 billion, compared to $1.8 billion over the same period of 2020.
