BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 17
By Maryana Akhmedova – Trend:
Georgia and France discussed the importance of introducing digital technologies in the country in the field of agriculture and sharing the experience of the French side in environmental issues, Trend reports via the press service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
Georgian Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili, met with the CEO of the Egis French multinational company, Laurent Germain.
“Georgia and France have a lot in common in the field of agriculture, including traditions in winemaking. I think the successful cooperation we have had with the France for years will be further developed with the active involvement of French investors and in case of more interest from the private sector,” Levan Davitashvili said.
The aim of the French side is to support Georgia in fulfilling its obligations under the EU Association Agreement and to promote the partnership between the business sectors of the two countries, Germain noted.
