Georgia’s exports of ferroalloys to Turkey in January 2022 amounted to $4.6 million, which is an increase of 9.5 percent, compared to the same period of 2021 ($4.2 million), Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The same figure also increased by 39.3 percent, compared to the reporting period of 2020 ($3.3 million), and by 21 percent, compared to December 2021 ($3.8 million).
Thus, Turkey ranked third among main ferroalloys importers from Georgia in January 2022, following after Russia ($13.2 million), and Ukraine ($7.8 million).
Georgia’s total ferroalloys exports in January 2022 totaled $31.4 million, which is an increase of 35.3 percent, compared to the same period of 2021 ($23.2 million). The same figure also increased by 103.8 percent, compared to January 2020 ($15.4 million).
