MOSCOW, Russia, October 8. The authority of the CIS as a regional association is growing, said Russian President Vladimir Putin as he addressed the expanded format meeting of CIS Heads of State Council in Moscow, Trend reports.
“We have substantively discussed the main issues, exchanged views, and agreed on important issues of the CIS development,” he said.
Vladimir Putin noted that the CIS is developing, and all leaders of the organization advocate further deepening of cooperation.
“The authority of the CIS as a regional association is being strengthened. The key tasks to improve the lives of citizens are being successfully solved.
The entire CIS space is experiencing positive dynamics. GDP is growing at a good pace. CIS companies are implementing joint projects in the field of infrastructure and energy,” he added.
