Two of the 40 people injured in a pilgrim bus accident in Kurintar of Chitwan in central Nepal died in hospitals Saturday afternoon.
According to myrepublica.com, altogether 52 people were traveling in the bus. The injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital and Medical College in Chitwan, some 85 km southwest of Kathmandu, Xinhua reported.
The bus overturned while returning to the capital carrying the pilgrims who had just visited a temple, the report said.
According to the police, the driver was drunk which led to the accident.
