Several minor and moderate earthquakes jolted southwest China's Yunnan Province on Saturday and Sunday, Xinhua reported.
A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit southwest China's Yunnan Province Sunday morning, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The quake hit Yingjiang County of Dai-Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Dehong at 7:33 a.m. The epicenter was located at 24.7 North and 97.9 East. It occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Soon after, at 7:44 a.m., a 3.4-magnitude quake hit the same county, causing cracks in the walls of houses. No casualties were reported.
On Saturday, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake also hit Yingjiang County at 5:31 p.m., according to the local county government.
The quake was centered two km west from the county seat at a depth of 10 km, according to the county government.
