Unknown gunmen have killed at least seven people in separate attacks in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi in the Sindh province.

The attacks took place in different parts of Karachi on Sunday morning, a Press TV correspondent reported.

In the last few weeks, gunmen have killed dozens of people in Karachi.

On Saturday, Pakistan's Special Investigation Police conducted raids in various parts of the major commercial city, arresting four pro-Taliban militants with heavy weapons.

The arrested militants belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi groups.

In different attacks on Saturday, militants attacked a security forces convoy in Mohmand Agency in northwest Pakistan, killing one security man and injuring two others.

Following the attack, Pakistani forces detained at least 30 militants in the area during search operations.

At least 80 militants have been killed and scores of others injured during search operations in Mohmand Agency over the last three days.
